Capilano University
Squamish Students will have the opportunity to take university courses in grade 12 for the 2026-2027 academic year. Registration for both courses will take place on Tuesday, April 14th, during lunch in room A110.
University Success Strategies (USS100)
- will be offered during the first semester after school, two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30-5 pm.
- Students will receive 4 grade 12 credits.
- USS100 is a required course for CapU Business Administration Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
University Writing Strategies (Engl100)
- will be offered during the second semester after school, two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30-5 pm.
- Students will receive 4 grade 12 credits.
- ENGL100 is a required course for most of CapU diploma and degree programs.
- ENGL100 is transferable to most universities as a first-year English course
- Students must complete English 12 in semester 1 with a 'B' or higher.
** SD48 will pay tuition fees ~ $460/course
** Students are responsible for the registration fee $50 and student fees ~ $250/course
