Connecting Classroom Learning to Real-World Opportunities
The Work Experience program blends classroom theory with hands-on experience in the workplace. By linking secondary schools with businesses, industries, and community organizations, this program provides students with invaluable educational experiences, helping them gain confidence and make informed decisions about their future.
Eligibility
Students must:
- Be in Grade 11 or Grade 12.
- Be willing and capable of practical work in real-world environments.
- Show a positive attitude and flexibility for working in diverse settings.
- Value personal growth and learning outside the classroom.
Program Requirements
To successfully complete the program, students must:
- Finish independent assignments, including evaluations and reflections.
- Attend regular meetings with your career program teacher.
- Complete a minimum of 100 hours of supervised work experience at approved worksites.
